Legal basis for processing

Retention Period
- The Data is processed and stored for as long as required for the purpose it was collected for.
Therefore:
Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between the Controller and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.
- Personal Data collected for the purposes of the Controller’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. Users may find specific information regarding the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller in the relevant sections of this document or by contacting the Controller.
Where processing is based on the User’s consent, the Controller may retain Personal Data for a longer period until such consent is withdrawn. The Controller may also be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period due to a legal obligation or by order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, erase, rectify, and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after the expiration of the retention period.

User Data is collected to allow the Controller to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests (or those of Users or third parties), detect any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as the following: contacting the User, profiling, statistics, platform and hosting services, contact management and message sending, tag management, heat mapping, and session recording.

Mailing List or Newsletter (this Application)
By registering to the mailing list or newsletter, the User’s email address is automatically added to a contact list that may receive email messages containing information of commercial or promotional nature concerning this Application.

By filling in the contact form with their Data, the User authorizes its use to respond to requests for information, quotes, or any other type of request indicated in the form’s header.

Some of these services work through geographically distributed servers in different locations, making it difficult to determine the exact location where the Personal Data is stored.

WordPress.com is a platform provided by Automattic Inc. or by Aut O’Mattic A8C Ireland Ltd., depending on the location from which this Application is accessed, that allows the Owner to develop, operate and host this Application.

Mailchimp is an email address management and message sending service provided by Intuit Inc.

SendinBlue Email (SendinBlue SAS)
SendinBlue is an email address management and sending service provided by SendinBlue SAS.

This type of service is functional to the centralized management of tags or scripts used on this Application. The use of such services involves the flow of User Data through them and, if necessary, their retention.
Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited)
Google Tag Manager is a tag management service provided by Google Ireland Limited.

Heat mapping services are used to identify the areas of this Application with which Users interact most frequently, in order to detect which of them attract the most interest. These services allow us to monitor and analyze traffic data and are used to track User behavior. Some of these services may record sessions and make them available for later viewing.
Hotjar Heat Maps & Recordings (Hotjar Ltd.)
Hotjar is a heat mapping and session recording service provided by Hotjar Ltd.
Hotjar honors generic “Do Not Track” headers. This means that the browser can tell the script not to collect any data from the User. This is a setting that is available in all major browsers. More information on opting out from Hotjar is available here.
